Pastor Chantilyn A. Reynolds, a native of Birmingham, Alabama is no stranger to warfare and is affectionately called a "Trailblazer" among those who know her. She is an anointed woman of God with a sincere desire to evoke, encourage, and empower the people of God to a lifestyle of Godliness, prayer, and righteousness.
At the tender age of 11, she received the infilling of the Holy Ghost and remains steadfast and unmovable in the work of the Lord. Working side by side with her parents in their church, at 14 years old, Pastor Reynolds birthed the church choir. Under her leadership, the choir has performed on various platforms and competitions throughout the city and nation. During her tenure as choir director, God allowed the choir to open and background for a plethora of renowned Gospel Artists such as: Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Shirley Caesar, Vickie Winans, Williams Brothers, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, the Mighty Clouds of Joy, and Canton Spirituals, just to name a few. She has also conducted, hosted, and facilitated numerous gospel and musical workshops.
In 1984, she was ordained to minister and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Bahamas preaching and teaching the uncompromised gospel of Jesus Christ at conferences, revivals, and seminars. Luke 9:1-2 represents the mandated call upon Pastor Reynolds' life.
1 Then Jesus called together the Twelve [apostles] and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases,
2 And He sent them out to announce and preach the kingdom of God and to bring healing. (AMP)
Pastor Reynolds is outgoing and compassionate. She has a heart for God's people and desires to see all saved, healed, delivered, and set free. Through God's anointing, she hopes to inspire the Body of Christ, to a new level of faith.
In 2012, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to her in a dream that solidified her position of moving to a new level of faith. It was at this time that her faith was challenged in the natural and stretched to a capacity that only God could fill in the spirit. As it began to play out in her life, the Spirit gave her;
Hebrews 10:23, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised ;)"
She was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer and given 6-12 months to live..
Pastor Reynolds received a true revelation of what it meant to go from faith to faith. The Lord taught her how to strategically confess the word of God and hold on to what He promised. As a Kingdom Warrior, she realized she had authority in the Name of Jesus to bring down ANYTHING that tries to exalt itself against the knowledge and wisdom of God. She launched missiles endued with the power of the Word of God, praise and worship to take what was rightfully hers...HER HEALING. Through the Blood of Jesus Christ, the enemy's plan of death was defeated.
Pastor Reynolds has served in various capacities throughout her ministry: choir director, praise and worship leader, Sunday school teacher, youth pastor and marriage ministry leader. She continued to serve faithfully at Mustard Seed Faith Cathedral, under Pastor Annette and Elder Rich Dunner until her relocation to Florida.
Currently, she pastors at Guiding Light Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida and is a part of the leadership team under Overseer Jessie and Pastor Terri Nightingale.
She has been married to her childhood sweetheart, Pastor Curtis Reynolds Sr., for 34 years. They have four children, Chauntina, Curtis Jr., Charity, and Caleb and proud grandparents of Maddison Grace.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education; University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also holds a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies and Intercessory Prayer; Word Bible College, Jacksonville, Florida.
Pastor Reynolds main goal is to do the complete and perfect will of God.
